Ingredients
Bowl & Basket frozen cavatelli
2 tbs Bowl & Basket olive oil
1 lb broccoli florets
1 tbs minced garlic
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup Bowl & Basket specialty grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add cavatelli and cook according to package directions.
- While waiting for water to boil/pasta to cook, heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat and add in the olive oil.
- Once hot, add in the broccoli and sauté for 4-5 minutes, then add the garlic and sauté an additional minute or until garlic is golden and fragrant.
- Add in chicken stock and let whole mixture simmer while the pasta cooks. If the broccoli appears to be getting too soft, remove from heat.
- Once cavatelli is cooked, drain (reserve ½ cup pasta water when you do) and add to the skillet with the broccoli.
- Add in the parmesan cheese and toss gently to coat, using some of the reserved pasta water if needed to make a sauce.
- Serve with additional parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, if desired.
